Knoll

Knoll is one of the 3 original units (formerly called Frontier), and the only unit left in camp to still use platform tents. With seven tents, two fire circles, a unit house (with electricity and water), a washstand and latrine, Knoll is home to the horseback riding unit. While it's great to live in a unit with electricity, the real beauty of Knoll is in the platform tents. While glen shelters only have curtains to pull back, platform tents allow you to roll up all four sides for ventilation, which is really nice on those hot summer days in Virginia.
